These side action type brushes have an almost solid concentration of bristles to clean the inner walls of tubes and cylinders. The concentration of bristles provides a high degree of bristle stiffness with almost no flexing of bristles during operation. No bristles are present in the axial end of the brush to clean the bottom of a cylindrical cavity.
Series 300 Brushes are available in sizes from 1/4” to 1-1/4” in diameter. The high-strength stainless steel stem can be chucked in any power tool chuck... portable drill, drill press, flexible power cable, etc. Bristles are made of high carbon steel...also available in stainless steel, nylon and brass.
Holders
Holders are available for Series 300 Side-Action type brushes to reduce the bristle trim length slight and produce stiffer brushing action, while allowing the brush to be driven at higher rpm. Available in two sizes: 1/4” and 3/8” diameters at the slit; 1/4” chuck end diameter; and 3-3/8” overall length.
